iMac

August 2007: The flagship flat-screen all-in-one machine goes glossy and sleek, featuring a black and aluminium enclosure plus a new keyboard, larger drives and faster speeds (up to 2.8GHz, Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Extreme throughout) than ever before.

Apple's flagship all-in-one desktop includes everything in the space of just the display, in a range of widescreen sizes from 20" to 24". An extended desktop on a second display is supported: plug in a DVI or VGA screen to further expand the amount of space you have available. There's also a built-in iSight camera and software (Photo Booth, iChat) to let you take photos and videoconference.

Key differences are below; also note that educational institutions can still purchase the previous entry-level 17" combo drive iMac.

Custom configuration is available on all models; just click on the price to get started.

Cinema Displays

April 2007: Further price drops on the three Cinema Displays — now even better value.

You weren't going to use your new Mac Pro with just an old VGA monitor, were you? Your Mac Pro drives two screens (DVI) out of the box, so don't let it go to waste. Each Cinema Display connects through DVI and also works as a USB/FireWire hub.

You can now order an Apple Cinema Display with any new Mac Pro. If you'd like to buy one independently, please call us.
